 In January 2001, China Broadcast & TV Culture (Qingdao) Co. Ltd owned by Qingdao Broadcast and Television created the large-scale column about Chinese food culture--- Man-Han Banquet, which is to promote the Chinese food culture as the major thrust
In December 2001, " Man-Han Banquet " was broadcasted on CCTV2 during the golden period. So far, it has become the only column which combines the long-term cooperation between CCTV and the local station, and its audience rating ranks stably among the top three programmes of the same period.
On April 30, 2005, the State Administration of Radio,Film and Television approved China Broadcast & TV Culture (Qingdao) Co. Ltd to open the "Chinese Food Channel”--- a digital pay-TV channel oriented to the whole country.
On November 8, 2005, "Chinese Food channel" broadcast to the whole country through the national transmission  platform (China Digital Media).
