In January 2001, CFTV created the large scale show-- “Man-Han Style Banquet” to promote the Chinese diet culture.
In December 2001, "Man-Han Style Banquet" was broadcasted on CCTV2 during the prime time. So far, it has been the only column that cooperated by CCTV and a local station in long-term relation. Its rating ranks stably among the top three shows of that period.
On April 30, 2005, SARFT approved CFTV to operate the "China Food TV”--- a digital pay-TV channel broadcast nationally.
On November 8, 2005, "China Food TV" broadcast nationally through the national level transmission platform --China Digital Media.
